ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSORIES

Maybe it’s all the design fairs or the upcoming art fair season around the corner, but we’re super curious about the abstract and architectural shapes popping up this season. Beyond the expected, here are two unconventional options that caught our eye.

Despite the current zeal for east-west silhouettes, Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo is embracing a top-down approach in this stunning midnight blue shade. It’s giving all the classic lady bag appeal and yet the semi-gloss asymmetrical front flap and golden clasp offer a much-needed refresh.

The ultimate statement piece often toes the line of functionality and this hand-blown glass bag from IAMISIGO is no exception. Available in brick-and-mortar at Temple Muse (Nigeria), Aby Concept (Ivory Coast), and The Artisanal Gallery (Kenya), discover this collector’s item to add to the archives. There’s room for both in our books.
